In addition to Touch Screen replacements, new batteries,
board level repairs, and Rom disaster recovery, (either as
in-house services or D-I-Y
kits) they offer the iPaq Refurbishment Program
(see below). They are currently able to repair and have the iPaq
on the way back to its owner the same business day.
iPaq Refurbishment Program: For one low cost they will
replace your tired old battery with a brand new one from the
factory (whether it is worn out yet or not), replace your Stylus
Lock (whether it has broken yet or not), clean and seal your
Screen (whether it has been dust-contaminated yet or not) and
perform complete diagnostics on your iPaq. This service is
currently offered for the iPaq 31xx / 36xx / 37xx series only.
Do-It-Yourself iPaq Refurb Kit: For the more adventurous they
also offer a Do-It-Yourself iPaq Refurbish Kit that includes the
battery, 2 new stylus locks, kapton anti-static tape for sealing
the screen, and detailed instructions. Order an additional
battery from their Parts Center and you're all set to refurbish
your buddy's iPaq too! This kit is currently offered for the
iPaq 31xx / 36xx / 37xx series only.
