is designed around fixed-point arithmetic, giving the game
lightning speed, realistic physics, and smooth animation.
The game engine provides accurate object
physics, transparencies, particle effects, and a full-scrolling
background. Each level has unique graphics and environmental
effects to fight against and adapt to.
Compete head-to-head against another player using the power-ups,
weapons, and ship upgrades available in the single-player game.
There are five categories of ships with a total of six levels
each, and plenty of ship upgrades and power-ups are available
along the way.
In addition to all the levels that come with the game, players can
create or download additional single-level or multilevel,
campaign-style add-ons for use with RocketElite.
