  RIM BlackBerry 7100t (T-Mobile)Compatible with T-Mobile cell phone service, the RIM BlackBerry 7100t is a PDA with a very phone-like appearance, manifest in its unique QWERTY keyboard/dialpad combination. 

 

  It runs on quad-band (worldwide digital and analog) mode, and features Bluetooth wireless data transfer, the robust BlackBerry organizer software, compatibility with Microsoft Exchange and other large e-mail servers, speakerphone, and much more, all displayed on the large 240 x 260-pixel 65,000-color screen.

 

  Calling Features - Used simply as a phone, the 7100t features a dedicated voice mail button, voice mail indicator, signal strength indicator, call timers, redial, missed call indicator, call log, voice activated dialing, any-key answer, speed dial, vibrating ring, differential ring, and a phone book capacity of 500 entries.

 

  Messaging and Internet - Providing a thumb-operated trackwheel for easy Web navigation, the 7100t lets you access data quickly with GPRS data download, and 32 MB of Flash memory is provided for data storage. For a seamless e-mail experience, "push" technology takes a message sent to your inbox and pushes it directly to your handset without any other downloading or prompting needed. 

 

  Its e-mail protocol is compatible with POP3/ISP, IMAP, AOL Mail, Yahoo Mail, MSN Hotmail, Microsoft Exchange (using Outlook Web Access or the BlackBerry Mail Connector application), and Lotus Domino (using iNotes or the BlackBerry Mail Connector application). On the text-messaging front, you'll get compatibility with Instant Messaging from AOL (subscription required), MSN, and ICQ, as well as MMS messaging, which lets you send, receive and edit text messages to and from other compatible phones and computers. 

 

  Blackberry's proprietary predictive text input and templates round out the package, along with the ability to expand your phone's functionality by downloading Java applications.

 

 Organizer - The RIM BlackBerry 7100t's robust organizer features include an address book, calendar, memo pad, and task list. The address book has an integration feature that lets you call, e-mail, SMS or schedule a meeting from one centralized address book. 

 

  Using the built-in USB port, you can also easily sync up data from your phone's organizer with your PC, or you can beam it across the room wirelessly (up to 30 ft. away) to compatible devices using your Bluetooth function. Organizer functions are compatible with Microsoft Outlook 97/98/2000/2002/XP, Outlook Express, Schedule+ 7.5, Schedule+ Default, Netscape, ACT! 4.0.2/2000/6.0, ASCII Text File Importer/Exporter, GroupWise 5.5/6.0, Lotus Notes 4.5/4.6/5.0/6.0/6.5, and Lotus Organizer 5.0/6.0.

 

  Fun and Games - A little game called Brickbraker comes with the phone, Games included with the phone also come built into the phone, and there are plenty of other Java-formatted games available online for download.
