Bluetooth

  For optimum convenience, the Bluetooth module is built into the PocketJet 3 Plus, so no external data cables are needed. Bluetooth is a standard for providing short-range, dependable wireless connections between computers, handhelds, and other devices.

  This technology provides a simple, reliable cable-free printing connection of up to 10 meters (approximately 30 feet) to a variety of laptop and handheld Bluetooth-enabled devices. Unlike IrDA (infrared light), which requires line-of-site to the device and has a range of just a few meters, Bluetooth technology uses radio waves to allow point-to-point transmission.

  At barely over 10 inches long and weighing just over one pound, the PocketJet 3 Plus fits easily into your briefcase or computer bag. It can also be quickly mounted in any vehicle or small work area.

  As economical as it is convenient, the PocketJet3 Plus utilizes advanced direct thermal printing technology, which eliminates the need for messy and expensive ink, toner, or ribbons. To save you even more money, the PocketJet 3 offers fast full-page portable printing of up to three pages per minute, resulting in a low per-page cost.

Resolution, Density, and Speed

  The PocketJet 3 Plus has a resolution of 300 x 300 dpi, or dots per inch. The print density is adjustable via the control panel, and the print output is up to three pages a minute at normal (5 percent density) page coverage. Fonts are downloadable using the Epson ESC/P emulation, and the long-lasting, re-chargable NiMH battery takes approximately 130 minutes to fully charge.
