 Use
your Palm to download e-mail, names, numbers, addresses, and
directions with the touch of a button with this modem for Palm III
and VII series handhelds. Plus, you can synchronize data between
your Palm handheld and your PC using HotSync technology.
After you've read your e-mail, written your responses, and deleted
all the messages you don't need, simply press the HotSync button
to update your PC's message box and send all the new messages
you've created.
This
Palm modem fits in your pocket and weighs only 2.8 ounces. A
single set of AAA batteries provide up to three hours of
connection time (an AC adapter is sold separately). This modem
transmits at 33.6 Kbps and comes with a 10-foot phone cord.
Software on the CD-ROM includes AOL Mail, Yahoo! Messenger, and
MultiMail.
This modem uses a standard RJ-11 telephone connector and is
approved for use in the United States, the United Kingdom, and
Canada.
