Commercial With PDA Kitchen Magician provides all the CookenPro
features: inventory control, purchasing and receiving, costing,
and nutritional analysis and, additionally, makes a CookenPro
database available to any PDA (Personal Digital Assistant) that
reads Excel.
This application is a powerful time saving tool for any
foodservice operation that uses or wants to start using a PDA.
Taking physical inventory and ordering is greatly
simplified.
Capitalizing on the superb ability of Excel to categorize and
display information, the PDA Kitchen Magician makes this
information available on a variety of inexpensive, off-the-shelf
handheld devices, including Palm and any Pocket PC devices with
Excel.
The application is installed only on the desktop computer not on
the hand-held device. Users communicate locally or remotely with a
single CookenPro 3.0 desktop or a network CookenPro database.
Users view recipes, including nutritional information, menus,
inventory, orders, invoices, suppliers, planning lists, and cost
center information.
The PDA Kitchen Magician allows the capture of purchase orders or
physical inventory on a handheld and the upload of the information
to a desktop.
