Turing is a Turing machine simulator for Palm OS. It simulates a
simple 1-dimensional Turing machine with alphabet {'0', '1'}, with
0 being the blank symbol.
The Turing machine is is an abstract
representation of a computing device introduced in 1936 by Alan
Turing to give a mathematically precise definition of
algorithm.
Turing machine is often mentioned as a great
toy for programmers and mathematicians. Also it is still widely
used in theoretical computer science, especially in complexity
