Product Description:

Keep yourself on track when driving from appointment to appointment with the Garmin iQue M3 Pocket PC with integrated GPS receiver. It's an easy-to-use automotive WAAS-enabled GPS navigator as well as a powerful handheld computer with Microsoft’s Windows Mobile 2003 Professional Edition software package, Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition, which supports portrait/landscape screen orientation for easy viewing of multimedia content.

The M3's GPS antenna on the folds flush with the back of the unit. Once its released the M3's GPS capabilities are powered up, initiating the satellite-acquisition sequence and defaults to the QueMap interface. Incorporating Gamin's easy-to-use C-series automotive navigation software, the M3 provides automatic route calculation to any destination and an integrated speaker gives voice-prompted, turn-by-turn directions to your destination.

The intuitive, point-screen interface requires little input and lets you quickly and easily look up an address or route in just a few seconds. You can choose between a three-dimensional navigation view--which lets you see an uncluttered view of what’s down the road--or the more traditional 2-D overhead view.

What Is WAAS? - WAAS stands for Wide Area Augmentation System is a system of satellites and ground stations that provide GPS signal corrections, giving you even better position accuracy. A WAAS-capable receiver can give you a position accuracy of better than three meters 95 percent of the time. Currently, WAAS satellite coverage is only available in North America. There are no ground reference stations in South America, so even though GPS users there can receive WAAS, the signal has not been corrected and thus would not improve the accuracy of their unit.

What's in the Box - iQue M3 Pocket PC, USB cable, AC adapter, MapSource City Select DVD, dashboard disk, metal stylus, protective flip cover, automotive windshield mount with integrated charger, printed quick-reference guide
