Minimal Text Input - By taking advantage of the PDA contact/address database, eCoach minimizes the amount of text that need to be entered on the PDA. 

Memo Reports - Memo reports can be generated and uploaded to the desktop for further processing. 

Player "play time" Function - Keeps accurate actual playtime for each player on the team. 

Game Statistics - At game time, eCoach provides a "just tap" easy method for collecting minute-by-minute data on players and game events (goals, shots, penalties, saves, subs). 

Substitutions - ECoach provides an easy interface for making and recording substitutions to the game lineup. 

Consistent Interface - Most of the screens used in eCoach have the same format, a list from which items can be selected, and a pop up menu that is displayed when an item is selected. The common feature is that inputting text is almost unnecessary.
