CONScalcs contains five special purpose calculators for solving a variety of problems related to construction, on the Palm PDA. 

  1) PCjobberC - allows the user to work directly in feet-inches-sixteenths to solve rafters and circular segments. 

  2) HVACcalcC - features built-in formulas for calculating duct size, relative humidity, fuel consumption, and infiltration.

  3) TriCalcC - is three separate calculators - feet-inches-sixteenths, metric, decimal and has useful and quick metric-English conversions.

  4) StairsCalc - allows the user to completely and easily solve for the parts of stairs.

  5) Span Tables - displays span lengths in feet and inches for floor joists, ceiling joists and rafters. Also displayed is the corresponding joist or rafter size, joist or rafter spacing, modulus of elasticity and allowable bending stress. The values are taken from the 1997 Uniform Building Code.
